Only 2 countries in the world use pressure canning over water bath canning. The US and Canada. The rest of the world has a rich history in water bath canning and bottling.
This beginners guide course will get you on your way safely and help you to make sense of all the noise online whilst giving you the confidence to fill your own shelves and pantries for everyday life and making sure you and yours are provided for during life’s little challenges.
This particular course does not as yet have an online version we are working on a way to make this possible.
Beginners Guide To Water Bath Canning - 4 Day Course
Included in this course is a copy of the Kerr Home Canning Book (classic reprint hardback).
All printed notes, recipes and information for the week.
The chance to make and take home up to 3 recipes of the day, or those you have managed to make in the time. You will also be given the opportunity to pick them up the next day.
Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate are provided with cake during the day but please bring your own lunch.
Please arrive at 7am for a 8am start.
We may run late so please allow for 1 hour over time, in general we aim to finish at 5pm.
We supply all utensils and cooking equipment, towels, cloths and aprons. If you have your favourites you may feel better using please feel free to bring them along.
